I have finished reading the trilogy:- (Matched, Crossed and the finale Reached). Emily Maclean recommended reading the first book to me, Matched, and I was captivated on the very first page. The first book is about romance and following the Governments' controls and predictions. After reading the first book, I eagerly proceeded onto Crossed. I was charged up to read the second book but it baffled me. It felt very slow-paced and she showed too much of an obsession over a boy. The chapter changes from character to character confused me but I still read Reached because I don't like leaving things unfinished. The book kept dragging on and I expected a much more complicated plot.
